Killinick Harriers are unique in the fact that we can boast a group Beach Ride as part of our activities. This is made possible through our long standing safety record. The Beach Ride is organised within the winter programme, often over the Christmas holidays. It provides those members who perhaps don’t enjoy hunting but would like a spirited ride out with a group atmosphere an opportunity to do so. Younger members are often led and canters are optional. The route allows riders to join in or leave at various intervals along the way.
It is customary that after the Beach Ride members congregate for refreshments and to enjoy our annual raffle.
Dates and times are subject to tides and will be published in the winter programme.
It is important to point out that “SAFETY” is a priority on the beach ride and all instructions from leaders should be respected at all times. Strictly NO GALLOPING. Suitable warm clothing is recommended and of course all tack should be up to pony club standards.
Our aim is that all those participating have tremendous fun.
